Tim, a lifelong Nevadan, boasts a diverse range of industry expertise spanning nearly two decades. His experience includes development, land entitlements, brokerage, and civil construction.
As a licensed real estate broker in Nevada, Tim also held a qualified employee status for a Class A general engineering contractor license. He has served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) from 2024 to 2025. Additionally, he currently serves on the government affairs steering committee. Tim is also a member of the American Planning Association (APA).
Tim’s leadership extends to his role as a former Chairman of the Clark County planning commission, where he served a four-year term from 2021 to 2025. He is also a CCIM designee and a member of the Southern Nevada CCIM chapter Board of Directors from 2023 to the present. Currently, he chairs the CCIM Legislative Committee and served as President of the Southern Nevada CCIM chapter for 2025.
Tim’s entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his co-founding of Brass Cap Development. Brass Cap successfully built a portfolio of over two million square feet of industrial assets across multiple states. In 2022, Brass Cap, in collaboration with private equity and institutional capital partners, sold its portfolio to an institutional buyer. Tim founded the Castello Group in 2012, a company that continues to invest in various land holdings and developments in Southern Nevada.
In 2024, Tim co-founded Castello-Monkarsh Development (CM Development). Recently, CM Development successfully completed the development, leasing, and sale of the ±75,000 square foot Cartier Industrial Center at Lamb & Cartier, a Class A facility in Southern Nevada. It was delivered as a fully integrated turnkey asset. Additionally, they are actively developing a multi-phase industrial project in Reno, totaling over one and a half million square feet. This continues Tim’s track record of delivering institutional-grade assets in high-demand markets.
Throughout his career, Tim has been a principal in and has successfully transacted hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate development. This includes the entitling and disposal of hundreds of residential lots to nation homebuilders.
Larry Monkarsh is a third-generation contractor and commercial real estate developer with nearly four decades of experience spanning residential and commercial construction, property management, and ground-up development. As a founding principal of Castello Monkarsh Development, Larry specializes in creating institutional-grade industrial assets across Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Idaho.
Larry began his career at EJM Development Co., his family’s Los Angeles-based real estate firm, where he built custom homes in Encino, new multi-family in Studio City and led multifamily renovations for the family busienss. By age 17, he had already completed his first large-scale project—constructing a four-unit condominium complex in Malibu. After refining his Property Management and renovation skills in Sun Valley, Idaho, he moved to Las Vegas in 1995 to pursue greater opportunity in the Southwest’s booming construction market.
In 1996, Larry founded LM Construction Company, a design-build firm that quickly became known for its expertise in the design and construction of commercial projects, with a heavy emphasis on concrete tilt-up industrial development. LM Construction has delivered millions of square feet of industrial, office, and retail/ commercial space and remains a cornerstone of Castello Monkarsh’s integrated delivery model.
In 2015, Larry co-founded Brass Cap Development, a firm that quickly gained recognition for identifying early-stage industrial opportunities and delivering institutional-grade assets across Southern Nevada. After years of successful growth and execution, Larry and his partners completed a portfolio sale of Brass Cap Development’s core assets in 2022, marking a significant milestone and strategic exit. With aligned vision and a shared commitment to delivering quality projects, Larry and co-founder of Brass Cap Development, Tim Castello went on to launch Castello Monkarsh Development as a next-generation real estate firm specializing in strategic industrial projects, driven by deep industry experience and strong leadership committed to delivering high-quality, impactful developments
